Gerald Ronson, the tycoon jailed in the 80′s for his part in Britain’s “Guinness Four” stock market scandal, gets a CBE. He donated heavily to the Tory Party however – hence the Honour presumably.
Another controversial Tory donator, Paul Ruddock – the hedge fund manager and Partner of the Landowne fund that bet on the collapse of Northern Rock – AND profited hugely from it… he got a Knighthood!

David Cameron explains the "Five Fingered Discount"!
Shows how meaningless the British Honours system actually is… this kind of crap needs to stop!
Check out the full New Year’s Honours List HERE!
I suppose we should be grateful Rupert Murdoch wasn’t honoured.

You didn’t have to be “psychic” to see this one in the cards.
Lets hope Russel will resist the urge to call any of Katy’s elderly relatives and tell them how he rates her performance in the SACK!

Russel and Katy while still together.

I know – I could just say Ghost Photos are WRONG because ghosts Don’t EXIST!
But that would be CRASS and, I’m sure, would brand me as being as “narrow-minded” as the people who BELIEVE in ghosts…
Let alone as “narrow-minded” as the people who BELIEVE you can actually capture the image of a departed soul (spirit, phantom, shade or astral-projection) in a photo (or on film, video… or in a sound recording for that matter).
Enough of that though – let me get to my point.
I love the idea of ghost photos – I would LOVE to see the supposed photographic proof of mind-blowing concepts like there IS life after death and that the continuance of consciousness DOES go beyond the grave – but they are always SO DISAPPOINTING!
All you get is a continuous parade of obvious fakes and miss-identified out of focus dust particles, insects, camera straps, wisps of hair, breath vapor, smoke and light pollution – not forgetting the numerous accidental, intentional or coincidental reflections, projections, double exposures and bodily intrusions… I could go on but what’s the point
Is there not ONE photo out there that at least looks like it might be the apparition of a terrifying phantasmal disembodied presence grimly haunting the site of its untimely death… NO?
There are countless examples of pathetic “orbs” of light – for which there are many more likely explanations – but not one photo that actually looks like what I would consider to be a “real” ghost.
So – come on people – send me some photos or footage… and please, if you can – make them as SCARY or Spooky as you can… other wise it doesn’t deserve the title Ghost Photo!
Send images or video to inquiries@harbinger451.com with Ghost Photo in the subject line. If I get a good response I’ll show them in this blog to begin with but I ultimately intend to start a webpage dedicated to the Art of taking a good Ghost Photo… for that is what it is, an Art.
Ghosts are a figment of the human imagination so can not be photographed… but that’s just MY opinion. Prove me wrong and send me some convincing evidence.

Isn’t technology wonderful – the electronic cigarette allows you to get your nicotine fix without all the harmful shit like carcinogens and tar ruining it all… but you still get that satisfying drag AND – I don’t care what anybody says – look cool while doing it! Much better than a stupid patch or having to chew on gum all day like a slack-jawed idiot.
If only someone would invent the cannabis equivalent and then it REALLY would be like giving up smoking altogether – but without compromising my eeeasy laid-back and chilling persona.
Just thinking about it gives me an idea of what Heaven MUST be like.

Harbinger451′s universal RPG is adaptable to any Period, Setting or Genre and lets you play effective Evil or Indifferent characters as well as Good ones.
This roleplaying game is designed specifically to give those wishing to play Evil or Indifferent characters a rewarding and rounded gaming experience as would be available to those playing Good characters. It is intended that the game world be populated equally with characters of all alignments making the game play more challenging for all concerned – and the consequences of actions and the motivations behind them more difficult to predict and counter.
The biggest difference between this system and that of most others is the fact that once your character’s Stats and Skills are set there will be little room for the improvement of their levels. Repeated use of skills will not allow the almost unlimited incremental increases seen in most RPGs… you will be able to hone those skills to a certain maximum level (plus 10 from the starting level) but beyond that you can not go – there are no über characters with every Stat & Skill at 100 here.
Your initial choices when creating a character and how you play the game are crucial to that character’s survival and progress. Also, if you neglect certain Skills and Stats their levels will start to diminish to a minimum (minus 10 from the starting level) – making for a much more level (and interesting) playing field. Character advancement only manifests as Rank and Reputation… or the lack of it.

Studying at the University of Life, the Universe and Everything should be considered a metaphor for the sometimes steep learning curve that is the Life of a Modern Human. Life is an education from start to finish. Experience leads to the knowledge of truth and to a healthy respect for stark reality. The path to truth in all its forms leads to understanding, wisdom and ultimately Gnosis… and presumably a VERY dark sense of humor for a cold hard truth can be life-changingly harsh, but can also bring out the Schadenfreude in us all… it’s a survival thing.

Check out the University’s webpage HERE. Or ‘like’ the University’s Facebook Page HERE.
The University of Life, the Universe and Everything is also a sub-forum at the Priory of Universal Truth. Soon you will be able to discuss and debate the veracity of some of the current theories answering those great questions that have vexed us and our fore-bares since we were first able to look up at the sky, scratch our heads and wonder… what, why and when?
The Priory Forum will be fully open for business soon… check it out in the meantime – there’s already loads to explore.

Harbinger451′s latest site, The Horror of it All’s ‘Creatures of the Night‘, is a bestiary of the bugbears and bogeymen that haunt our collective nightmares. It is a trawl through the dark Alternative Reality that is Horror.
This often light-hearted, though adult oriented, homage to the genre of horror and its many sub-genres and crossovers provides a glimpse in to the forbidding side of the collective unconscious that has found expression through the medium of folklore, fiction, film, games and the internet.
The title page is now online so please check it out – the sub-genres and folklore pages will be following soon.
Enter HERE all those who delight in horror, death, the macabre, the occult, black humor, weird tales, dark fantasy – and all such nefarious pleasures.

The Universal Mythos draws from many world traditions both ancient and modern. Chief among them is the ever evolving mystical Kabalah/Cabalah/Qabalah of Judaism/Christianity/Hermetic-Occultism.
A recently updated version of the Kabalistic glyph the Tree of Life is key to understanding what the Mythos is designed to express, as is the universal pagan glyph the Wheel of Time.
Buddhist, Taoist, Humanist and even Jungian principles can be harmonized with the mythologies of both East and West allowing direct comparisons and an amalgam into a universal whole that represents a unified mysticism accessible to all… even agnostics and atheists!
The numerous correspondences that become evident with the Universal Mythos allows the unification of monotheism, pantheism, polytheism and yes… atheism – in fact any kind of theism… all can be considered correct and yet none can be considered correct -
all are one and one is all!

These are the nagging thoughts niggling at the back of all true Agnostic Minds:
Am I Real? … (Good Question!)
I Think there-fore I Am! – But what if I DON’T Think that I am? (What if – what now?)
Am I Actual or am I Virtual. (Who can say – but ask yourself this… Does it matter? … No! Reality, Actuality and Virtuality… it’s all relative – LIFE goes on regardless!)
Am I the ONLY thing that IS Real? (Probably Not!)
Or am I the only thing that is NOT? (Probably Not!)
Can I even truly “Know” if I am Real… or that anything else IS? (No!)
Can I really “Know” anything? (Probably Not!)
Or Can I simply “Know” nothing? (Probably So!)
If I Believe that I am Real does that make it so? (No!)
What if I Believe that I’m not Real? – Does that make it so? (No!)
So why does it matter WHAT I BELIEVE? (It does NOT!)
